Nook Sales Are Falling and That's not a Good Thing

Check out this article: Amazon is Gutting Barnes and Noble.  And this one: Barnes & Noble sells fewer Nooks, retail revenue falls.

If you don’t feel like clicking the links, they basically say that Nook sales are falling and indications are that B&N is having a hard time holding onto its market share in ebooks.

Not good.

Amazon, as the market leader by far in ebook sales, has already shown a propensity to push people around.

  1. I am proud to say that the book company I work for, Usborne-Kane Miller decided to pull all of its books from Amazon last year in an effort to support its independent booksellers (like me!). Yeah!!

    • Wow – I’m impressed. That’s a big deal, Lisa. Amazon is a the biggest player currently in the online book market. It says a lot about Usborne-Kane Miller. Wonderful! I’ll definitely support them when I can!
