Missing Jane Austin Week

I didn’t know it but I’ve been missing Jane Austin week. There is a blog I like called Historical Tapestry that declared this week Jane Austin week, so they are featuring everything Jane. The last couple posts describe some spin-off Austin books that I put on my “to read” list on Goodreads: Jane Austin made me do it, and The Fitzwilliam Darcy, Gentleman Trilogy. (If you haven’t heard about Goodreads, I’d recommend a look-see. It’s a great place for readers to connect, to keep track of their books, to learn about authors, and to learn or whats out there and what others think to name just a few of its attributes.)

They also mention an adaptation BBC film of Emma (2010), which I have seen and would recommend to any Austin fan.

So if you’re an Austin fan, head over to Historical Tapestry for a quick fix.
