Came across this lovely image by John MacDonald on Vicki Goodwin’s blog – The Page Turner. Lovely, just lovely.
It’s oriole season around here. They show up in the spring at the feeders – especially if we have grape jelly or oranges around. They feed for a couple weeks then they leave the feeders but stay in the woods. I look forward to their splash of color each spring.
It was a “Frozen” world around here Friday morning.
My daffodils (or are they jonquils – I don’t know the difference!) are starting to make their way back into the world, so I thought I’d push them a long by showing them how they looked last year! Bloom babies, Bloom!
Another wonderful nature photo from Jeffery Foltice at Photo Nature Blog.
Beside the beautiful colors in the bird, I love the pattern and colors in the water and the contrast of the very still, crisp picture of the mallard to the wavy pattern in the water. Lovely shot all around!
Had to share this one on this lovely, fall day in Wisconsin.
My husbands garden prize!
